TEEN COURT MANAGER
Description of Agency:
Family Services of Davidson County is a non-profit agency located in Lexington, NC providing counseling, crisis intervention, and youth development programs to strengthen individuals, families, and our community. We work from a team model and Trauma-Informed Care approach to provide optimal services to our clients and to promote a healthy workplace environment.
Primary Function:
The Teen Court Manager coordinates all components of the Teen Court Program. This includes recruitment, screening, and training of adult/youth volunteers, overseeing client engagement of services and reporting to referral sources. In addition, they are required to maintain documentation and submit required reporting in a timely manner.

Hours:
Monday- Thursday, hours flexible based on client and FSDC needs and Friday’s as needed
Education/Experience:
· At least an associate’s degree in human services field or related field or a high school diploma with at least one (1) year of working experience with the target population.
· Working knowledge regarding issues related to at-risk young adults including poverty, juvenile crime and parenting.
Accountability:
· Works under the direct supervision of the Youth and Community Services Program Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all Teen Court Programming to ensure quality, timely and appropriate services for identified youth and their families.
· Serve as primary contact for all program referrals.
· Conduct all program intakes and assign client court appearance dates.
· Responsible for training all Teen Court Volunteers (Adult and Youth)
· Facilitate Teen Court Sessions; overseeing the roles of all volunteers, parents and clients.
· Network with appropriate community groups, agencies, schools and other systems relevant to providing the best comprehensive services.
· Increase community awareness of issues facing youth, those in poverty and young families through coordination/participation in community events, serving on inter-agency groups and public speaking.
· Participate in JJTC/DPS/FSDC collaborative meetings.
· Participate in the maintenance of files containing clinical/client documentation through the UR process, random review and other ongoing internal auditing activities.
· Oversee the maintenance, analysis and submission of data, as applicable for all program-related reporting requirements including monthly reports and program audits.
· Assist with developing and supporting the expectations/requirements of the grants that fund Teen Court.
General:
· Process all correspondence, time and travel and monthly reports as scheduled
· Represent FSDC in the community and assist in community awareness, fundraising and capital campaigns
· Promotes the Family Service philosophy in community meetings and events
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Must pass a criminal background and drivers license check

LEAD THERAPIST (LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
Description of Agency:
Family Services of Davidson County is a non-profit agency located in Lexington, NC providing counseling, crisis intervention, and youth development programs to strengthen individuals, families, and our community. We work from a team model and Trauma-Informed Care approach to provide optimal services to our clients and to promote a healthy workplace environment.
Primary Function:
Provides comprehensive mental health assessment and ongoing counseling for individuals, families, and groups. Services are both in-office and community-based at local public schools. Lead Therapist will serve as an advocate for clients by coordinating care with primary care physicians, school personnel, Department of Social Services social workers, and other professionals/agencies involved with the clients and their families. Lead Therapist, in coordination with the Director of Clinical Operations, will provide consultation, leadership, and support to the Clinical Team.
Education/Experience:
A master’s degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling program. Independent licensure in the state of North Carolina.
Demonstrated competence as a clinician who has solid theoretical base in the helping process that includes the Family Systems approach and understanding of Trauma-informed care.
Demonstrated ability to function as a consultant, educator, and advocate.
Credentialed or meets criteria to become an approved clinical supervisor in accordance with their state licensure board.
Demonstrated ability to form a therapeutic alliance with clients and to possess a strong commitment to human services as a profession.
Accountability:
Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations or Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
Maintain 10-12 direct service hours weekly in individual, family, and group therapy services to various populations as appropriate within the criteria for clinical services.
Alongside the Executive Director, plans for the hiring and orientation of direct service clinicians and interns. Provides consultation to direct service clinicians and interns upon request.
Obtain feedback from the Clinical Team and present it to the Executive Director for program improvement and staff development.
Participate on FSDC’s Leadership Team and attend monthly leadership meetings.
Leads bi-monthly Clinical Supervision and Clinical Staffing group meetings.
Provide direct licensure supervision of clinicians and supervision of clinical interns.
Maintain accurate and current records for all clients as required by the agency. This includes writing appropriate treatment plans, social histories, assessments, and electronic progress notes.
Complete in a timely fashion all necessary reports regarding services provided, time sheets and any other information requested by the agency management.
Maintain a flexible schedule to include an emergency appointment time and consultations as the need dictates on a weekly basis. Provide emergency consultation to Clinical Team regarding urgent mental health concerns.
When necessary, provide advocacy services in school-based care meetings and, if necessary, in a civil and criminal district court.
Continue professional growth through attendance at weekly supervision, workshops, and staff meetings. This includes the use and continued growth of the professional self.
Maintain professional credentialing or licensure requirements of the specific therapist's professional field and follow their ethical guidelines.
Co-ordinate services with other community resources for our clients and advocate for them when needed.
Provide consultations to agencies and organizations that serve families or children.
Provide educational presentations to the community when requested.
Participate on CQI and other committees as directed by the Executive Director
Accept Emergency Calls from the Shelters
Cover Groups (Seeking Safety and DV Support Group) as needed.
Manage Client Concerns
Attend Supervision with the Executive Director biweekly.
Attend Meetings with the Operations Director Weekly regarding scheduling and clinical concerns
Complete 90 day and annual reviews
Provide clinical direction to YCS Staff
Assist with onboarding of new clinical team members.
Serve on advisory committees and boards as needed.
· Provide presentations to Lexington Parent Jacket Academy (Mental Health, Parenting)
· Provide presentations on Healthy Relationships for Lexington Men’s Prisons Pre-Release Class (co-present with Clinical Interns)
· Provide other presentations and engage in other speaking events upon request.
General:
Promote the Family Services philosophy to the community.
Process all correspondence, time and travel sheets, and monthly reports as scheduled.
Represent agency at meetings when requested and participate in fundraising events.
